Eli Christmas

I'm a Tacoma-based software developer, project consultant, and independent researcher. I hold an Associate of Applied Science in Software Development and Business Analytics, and I'm currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Public Health program. My work spans websites, mobile applications, custom software, business development, and digital research projects. I especially enjoy taking a complicated idea or an existing system that isn't working as well as it could, figuring out what it needs, and turning it into something organized, functional, and thoughtfully designed.

I've developed tools for media management and device customization, contributed to a collaborative music discovery application, and worked directly with small businesses on everything from discovery and branding to web development and operational systems. I'm also passionate about historical preservation, civic technology, accessibility, and public health. Through independent research and community-focused projects, I'm exploring how technology can help organizations serve people more effectively, make important information accessible, and create meaningful opportunities for community involvement.

I love the work of connecting the pieces: researching the problem, developing a direction, designing the experience, and bringing the solution to life.
